Safe and Sound Protocol

A music listening therapy for nervous system regulation

The Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) is a gentle music listening therapeutic program that helps calm and regulate your nervous system. Through specially filtered music, SSP supports your body in feeling safe, making it easier to manage stress, focus, and connect with others. Reconnect with Calm, Safety & Connection.

Music Time

What Is SSP?

SSP uses specially filtered music to highlight the audio frequencies of the human voice. These sounds send cues of safety to the nervous system- helping shift out of fight, flight, or shutdown and into a regulated state where healing and connection become possible.  Think of it as an exercise program for your nervous system, training it to function in a regulated state.

Who Can Benefit?

SSP may be supportive if you experience:

* Anxiety, trauma, or chronic stress

* Sensory sensitivities or neurocomplexity - ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, etc

* Difficulty with emotional regulation

* Challenges in focus, learning, or social connection

What to Expect

* Personalized pace- sessions are guided in person or virtually, tailored to your needs.

* Gentle process - 5 hours total, broken into short listening segments done over weeks to months

* Integration support - guidance, activities and reflection to help anchor the changes you notice.

Why SSP?

When your nervous system feels safe, everything shifts — sleep improves, digestion regulates, mood steadies, sensory processing improves and relationships become easier. SSP helps restore this foundation so growth and healing can unfold more naturally.

Next Steps

SSP can be an adjunct program to accelerate positive changes for those engaged in therapy, used alongside other modalities, or can be a stand alone service provided.

If you’d like to explore SSP, I’ll begin with a consultation to understand your needs and design a listening plan that feels safe and supportive for you.
